Buckhannon Upshur Camera Club

The Buckhannon Upshur Camera Club meets on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 7:00 pm at the Upshur County Senior Center on Senior Drive in Buckhannon, WV. You do not have to be a senior to join. During the year, we have field trips and special guest speakers at our meetings. Family membership dues are $15.00 a year. Dues for youth under 19 just $5.00 a year.

MONTHLY CLUB PHOTO CONTESTS

Each month at our camera club meetings, members are invited to bring a 4x6 print on a monthly theme. Photos should have been taken during the previous month. Members attending the meetings pay $0.50 per print entered, with the winner taking home the proceeds. Also try to bring a digital copy of your image. If you're the monthly winner, we'll post your photograph on this web site.

2010 Strawberry Festival Photo Contest - deadline extended to April 28, 2010.

The schedule for the photo contest is:

12 May - Set up at 1pm.

13-15 May - exhibit at Kelley Chevrolet 9-6

13 May - Photograper awards 5:30 pm at Kelley's

16 May - exhibit 9-12 at Kelley's.

17 May - Take down 10am-2pm

17 May - Photographers may pick up at 3pm
